The Economic Development and Regulatory Services Committee of the Minneapolis City Council will consider amending Chapter 281 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances related to Tobacco Dealers. If approved, any new tobacco shop that sells flavored tobacco must be 3,000 feet away from any other tobacco shop which also sells flavored tobacco. This distance requirement does not apply to the B4 zoning district.
