*Notice: Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak the number of participants will be limited to 10 per hike and participation is at your own risk. Participants will be expected to maintain a minimum 6ft distance between themselves and others at all times and follow strict social distancing guidelines.
Out of an abundance of caution we will be unable to loan binoculars and participants should bring their own.

We will keep a close eye on changes to MN Health Dept. Guidelines and the hikes may be cancelled at any time.
Spend time outdoors and join local birding experts Dave Zumeta and Lee Pfannmuller to look for migrating and returning spring birds along the Mississippi River Gorge on Saturday, May 9th and Sunday, May 10th from 7:00-10:00 am.
Our river gorge is a premiere place for bird watching! We sometimes find over 50 species during our annual spring hike in the Mississippi Flyway. Over 180 species have been observed in this area, and the best time to see and hear them is May!
Novices and experienced birders all welcome. Bring binoculars, a water bottle and wear sturdy shoes for hiking the river’s bluffs and banks.
The hike is free, but RSVP is required as the number of participants is limited. Please register by April 30th using the link below. After registering, you will be provided with the starting location for the hike.
If you have questions about the hikes, please contact Dave Zumeta at: firstname.lastname@example.org
