Development Community Meeting (Virtual) – Lowa Phase II

Join us for a virtual community meeting with Oppidan Investment Company, to discuss their plans for the development of a multi-family residential building located at 3939 E 46th Street, south of the existing Cub Foods mixed-use building.

The meeting will feature a presentation, Q & A and community vote, which will be conducted through an online survey. The vote will determine whether LCC provides a letter of support, conditional support or non-support to the City Planning Commission regarding the developers land use requests listed below.

Land use application requests:

  • Conditional Use Permit to increase maximum building height in C3A district from 4-stories, 56ft to 5-stories, 54ft.
  • Variance to Pedestrian Overlay District standards to increase maximum front yard setback from Nawadaha Blvd.
  • Variance to reduce minimum interior side yard along the east property line adjacent to the alley from 13 to 10 feet.
  • Site Plan Review: New 5-story building with 144 units.
