Notice of Public Hearing – Minnehaha Lake Wine & Spirits – 2613 E Lake St

Steve Krause has submitted the following land use applications to allow the construction of a new building with approximately 9,400 square feet of commercial space containing an expanded liquor store at 2613 Lake St E, 2619 Lake St E, and 3010 27th Ave S: 

  • Conditional use permit to allow an off-sale liquor store.
  • Variance to reduce minimum building height.
  • Variance to reduce minimum floor area ratio.
  • Variance to the standards of the PO Pedestrian Oriented Overlay District.
  • Site plan review. 

The City Planning Commission will meet onMonday, April 12, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. During the declared local public health emergency, Minneapolis has transitioned to an electronic format for its public meetings and hearings, authorized under Minn. Planning Department staff will issue a recommendation to the Planning Commission. After hearing from the public, the Planning Commission will make a determination based on required legal findings of fact.
