Hamilton\, Christopher Harrison\, Katrina Knutson\, Hawona Sullivan Janzen\, Zarra TM. \nPlease join us for a celebration of the Dream Sequences project on Sunday\, February 5th from 2 to 4pm at Galapagos Bar and Grill with brief remarks at 3pm. Community members will have the opportunity to view and visit the installation. Join your neighbors to celebrate the project\, honor the artists and help reawaken Elsa’s House of Sleep! \n“Dream Sequences” is a production of 36th A.R.T. (Avenue Revitalization and Transformation)\, a volunteer group of neighborhood residents working to address safety\, accessibility\, aesthetics and interpretive wayfinding along 36th Avenue\, from Lake Street to 25th Street.

DESCRIPTION:Come join us at Arbeiter Brewing Co. on Saturday\, February 11th for Mittenfest. We’re hosting free crochet and knitting demonstrations from Curiosity Studio (at 3pm and 5pm) with all supplies provided. Pre-register to learn how to crochet or pre-register for knitting. Registration is not required\, but recommended. If you’ve been wanting to learn to knit or crochet\, now is the time!  All participants will be able to take home their projects and needed materials to complete them. \nThere will be beer and n/a drinks from Arbeiter and a food truck. We hope to see you there!

DESCRIPTION:Let’s welcome one of the newest businesses to the neighborhood! Loons Coffee is currently setting up shop in the former Dunn Bros space at Lake Street and West River Parkway (4648 E Lake St). \nJoin LBA and Loons for an open house on Thursday\, February 23 from 4:30 – 6:00 pm to connect with your fellow businesses over specialty coffee and treats. Feel free to stop by for 15 minutes or stay for an hour. The event is free\, but please RSVP here so that Loons can plan accordingly! \nLoons Coffee is a tranquil destination to come together each day to renew wishes and see our possibilities together inspired by high-quality\, single-sourced coffee from Ethiopia\, delicious hand-crafted locally made organic baked-goods\, fresh fruit smoothies\, pastries\, snacks\, gourmet vegetarian soups and sandwiches (Vegan + Gluten Free options available) served from 6am-7pm daily.
