DESCRIPTION:The Community Clean Ups gather people from the neighborhood and community together to contribute to the health and vitality of the Greater Longfellow neighborhood by cleaning up Lake Street. All are welcome. This is a free\, family-friendly event – join us Tuesday\, March 12th! \nSign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0E49A8AB2AA2F9C16-46837390-2024#/ \nTo join the clean up simply sign up and our Community Organizer Ben will email you with the location to meet up with clean up coordinators and get materials – all will be provided. Clean up slots are open from 3 to 4:30pm and 4:30 to 6pm. We strongly suggest wearing sturdy shoes and dressing for the weather. And we suggest bringing a mask for whenever you find yourself in close proximity to other volunteers. \nClean up and win! One bag of trash = one raffle ticket. For every bag of trash you collect\, you are entered to win a gift card from Laune Bread. LAUNE Bread is a subscription and market bakery dedicated to seasonality\, simplicity\, and the intersection the farm and the city. We bake European & West Coast American inspired naturally leavened breads\, pastries & cookies. \nWe will have clean-up supplies available including trash bags\, gloves\, needle disposal\, and pickers.
