Public Hearing Notice: Food Truck Ordinance Amendment

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Date:  Tuesday, June 19, 2018

Time:  1:30 p.m. or shortly thereafter 

Place:  Minneapolis City Hall
350 South 5th Street, Room 317
Minneapolis, MN 55415

Purpose:  To gather public opinion and solicit comments regarding amending Chapter 295 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Licenses and Business Regulations: Mobile Food Stores.  If approved, parking on streets will be permitted when in compliance with all ordinances, regulations, parking zones and posted signage.

Public Hearing Notice: All Square Application for On-Sale Wine With Strong Beer Class “E” License

All Square, located at 4047 Minnehaha Ave, has submitted an application for an On-Sale Wine with Strong Beer Class “E” license. If approved, they intend to operate a full-service restaurant with 33 indoor seats and 10 outdoor seats located in a private area and will offer wine and strong beer for their customers.

Public Hearing Notice: Four-story Mixed Use Apartment & Drive-through Coffee Shop at Current WashMe Car Wash Site on Hiawatha

Richard Andron, on behalf of Nick Boosalis, submitted the following applications to allow a new four-story mixed use building with ground floor commercial, 43 residential units, and a drive-through for a coffee shop at 4155 Hiawatha Ave in the I2 and Industrial Living Overlay District:

  • Conditional use permit to allow dwelling units in a new building in the Industrial Living Overlay District
  • Site plan review

Public Hearing Notice: Expansion of Premises for Moon Palace Books at 3032 Minnehaha Ave.

Geek Love Café at Moon Palace Books has submitted an application for a Permanent Expansion of Premises that would add an 18-seat private patio to their restaurant. They currently have an On-sale Wine Class A with Strong Beer License and a Theater License.

Public Hearing Notice: Two (2) Appeals of Minnehaha Academy Re-build/Expansion

M. Michelle Coady has filed an appeal of the City Planning Commission’s decision to approve the following land use applications to allow for additions to an existing K-12 school located at 3100 River Pkwy W.

Douglas R. Braithwaite has filed an appeal of the City Planning Commission’s decision to approve a condition of a approval to a conditional use permit to allow for additions to an existing K-12 school located at 3100 River Pkwy W.
