The City will hold three public hearings on the proposed City of Minneapolis Budget on November 7, December 4 and 11, 2019 in the City Council Chambers (Room 317), 350 South Fifth Street.
The City is interested in your views on community development and housing needs and how the 2020 City budget can address these needs. Your comments will inform the City’s 2020 Consolidated Plan application to U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for community entitlement grant funds. Minneapolis uses these funds for programs benefitting low and moderate-income residents.

Purpose: Amending Title 20 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances related the the zoning code as follows:
- Chapter 520 relating to Introductory Provisions
- Chapter 525 relating to Administration and Enforcement
- Chapter 530 relating to Site Plan Review
- Chapter 535 relating to Regulations of General Applicability
The purpose of the amendment is to update regulations related to inclusionary zoning.
Interested parties are invited to attend and be heard. Planning Department staff will issue a recommendation to the Planning Commission. After hearing from the public, the Planning Commission will make a determination based on required legal findings of fact.
