Explore the oldest Black Church in Minneapolis, St. James AME Church, 3600 Snelling Avenue S., and the entire state of Minnesota, during Doors Open Minneapolis, May 18th from 10am until 5pm. There will be presentations throughout the day including Our (1860) beginnings in Territorial Minnesota at 11:15am; Journey from St. Anthony Falls to Snelling Ave S. at 12:15pm;  AMEC: The oldest Black Denomination in the USA at 1:15pm.
