Gardening for Wildlife: Introduction

April 15 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Discover the basic essentials in creating a wildlife-friendly yard and garden. The secret to attracting butterflies, birds, and other wonderful wildlife is reestablishing a more natural habitat. In a world where widespread land practices have diminished biodiversity, this course empowers you with insights into simple actions you can implement in your own yard, contributing to the broader environmental well-being. You will soon be attracting and delighting in birds, butterflies, and bumblebees, ensuring a thriving habitat for generations to come.
This free offer is for Greater Longfellow area residents as we are part of a Community Wildlife Habitat since 2021 (Home Page – Community Wildlife Habitats (nwf.org))
If you want to join us, please email Longfellow resident Daniel Schultz at with the date you would like to attend, and he will send you info to begin your journey, along with a link to the Zoom class. If you prefer, the class can also be purchased for $19 through Minneapolis Community Education (all $$$ goes to them).  If you register with them, you will also support community education: Search – Minneapolis Public Schools (eleyo.com)
