Join us for a presentation and Q & A with Base Camp Development and DJR Architecture on their proposed project located at 3801 Hiawatha Ave.

Preliminary Project Details:

  • Mixed-use multi-family building
  • 4 stories
  • 102 units
  • 2,300 sq ft retail space

Land Use Requests:

  • Variance to the setback requirements for a Pedestrian Overlay District

A community vote will be held at the conclusion of the meeting, on whether to issue a letter in support of the developer’s land use application to the Minneapolis City Planning Commission.

3320 41st St. E – Friendship Academy of the Arts – Public Hearing Notice

Purpose: FFA Building company has submitted the following land use application to allow the conversion of the existing building at 3320 41st St. E to a school:

  • Conditional Use Permit to allow a K-12 school.
  • Variance to the standards of the PO Pedestrian Overlay District.

Location: City Hall,  Room 317 – 350 S. 5th St., Minneapolis, MN

Interested parties are invited to attend and be heard. Planning Department staff will issue a recommendation to the Planning Commission. After hearing from the public, the Planning commission will make a determination based on required legal findings of fact. Please visit for the agenda with staff reports (web page will be updated by the end of the day Wednesday prior to the meeting).
