Work together with Longfellow neighbors to replace

Work together with Longfellow neighbors to replace your boulevard turf with beautiful, pollinator-supporting, stormwater-capturing native plants!

Neighbors on a block will pool their resources to order flats of native plants at wholesale prices, then hold a work day to remove sod, mulch and plant. Training will be provided, no experience required!

Join your neighbors to experience new works created by artists in the greater Longfellow neighborhood at the historic Coliseum building.

Come to the opening on Friday, March 6th for food from Habenero Tacos, Arbeiter Brewing, music by Pete Hoffman, and plenty of amazing art!

East Lake Street and 27th Avenue, Minneapolis.

Reception March 6, 5pm-8pm

Special shout-out to Longfellow resident Vicky Olson for feeding our entire Town Hall meeting with food from immigrant-owned businesses

Vicky is a part of a group of community-led chefs and neighbors providing grassroots mutual aid for people on the front lines of community support and ICE watch. Day and night, folks are delivering hot meals and essentials to help our immigrant neighbors and families.

Funds raised go directly to local immigrant-owned businesses, warm meal prep, and delivery to action and watch sites.
