The Central Neighborhood's Wild Geranium Fund (WGF) was created to create meaningful change for youth in our community. Using the microgrant model, WGF seeks to interrupt both systemic divestment from Black youth and also wealth distribution that favors white people. WGF will do this, in part, through distributing $2,000 grants to Black youth who identify as having a connection to one of the four neighborhoods surrounding George Floyd Square, where we live and work.
Consider giving and support Black youth in our community. Link in our bio to give or learn more.

The Longfellow neighborhood in Minneapolis, Minnesota, holds a treasure trove of Black History, with many Black families who have called Longfellow home for centuries. This film explores three Minneapolis families who have deep roots in the Longfellow area and their long history here. Follow the stories of the Lees, Websters and McMoores in this short documentary filmed by Sophia Watkins and produced by the Honorable Judge LaJune Lange of the International Leadership Institute.

March 12th - Virtual from 6pm to 7:30 pm - Join us on Zoom - https://us06web.zoom.us/j/86779709504
