Gardening For Wildlife: Introduction

March 23, 2024 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Discover the basic essentials in creating a wildlife-friendly yard and garden. The secret to attracting butterflies, birds, and other wonderful wildlife is reestablishing a more natural habitat. In a world where widespread land practices have diminished biodiversity, this course empowers you with insights into simple actions you can implement in your own yard, contributing to the broader environmental well-being. You will soon be attracting and delighting in birds, butterflies, and bumblebees, ensuring a thriving habitat for generations to come.
This free offer is for Greater Longfellow area residents as we are part of a Community Wildlife Habitat since 2021 (Home Page – Community Wildlife Habitats (nwf.org))
If you want to join us, please email Longfellow resident Daniel Schultz at dschultz6@comcast.net with the date you would like to attend, and he will send you info to begin your journey, along with a link to the Zoom class. If you prefer, the class can also be purchased for $19 through Minneapolis Community Education (all $$$ goes to them).  If you register with them, you will also support community education: Search – Minneapolis Public Schools (eleyo.com)
